Biography
Delaney began to learn about the law from her father at the family dinner table at a very young age. She is now a second year law student at Charleston School of Law and a law clerk at Mason Law Firm.
After graduating from Western Carolina University, Delaney moved to Denver, Colorado. She worked closely with veterans and their families providing opportunities for them to explore alternative therapies for post-traumatic stress disorder. She sponsored suicide awareness charity events and helped provide an environment for veterans and their families to come together to create the brotherhood they once knew during their military service. She also provided in-home care for a Marine Corps veteran with service-related PTSD and epilepsy.
Delaney also acts as an industry relations coordinator on The Fourth Corner Credit Union project. She worked closely with her father on the case of The Fourth Corner Credit Union v. Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in which the law firm successfully sued the Federal Reserve to obtain a master account for a credit union chartered by Colorado to serve supporters of the legalized cannabis and hemp industries.
In 2018, Delaney studied international law at The Hague Netherlands. She has focused an aspect of her studies on international legal matters.
These life experiences inspired Delaney to pursue the study of law in order to enable her to provide legal assistance to veterans, their families, and anyone else who has experienced a personal setback or injustice in their life.
